Anatomy - Using the lead V4R in RCx occlusion

In assessing inferior wall myocardial infarction secondary to RCx occlusion, valuable information can be obtained from lead V4R. Lead V4R is located opposite to the region of the inferior wall being supplied by the RCx. Thus, inferior wall myocardial infarction secondary to RCx occlusion will manifest in V4R as ST-depression and T-wave inversion.
